Positive: It was a nice old building, probably from the time when people travelled with less expectations, it was more like a dorm. Our family room was on the top of the building with nice view. Private bathroom means shower in the room, towels were provided. We were offered breakfast for additional price, we probably should have taken it , as it looked like a hearty French breakfast for the value, seeing other guests eating..
Negative: We thought "private bathroom" means also toilet, but that was on the lower level, shared with other guests. Other than that everything was fine.
